Based in Long Beach, CA, Josh combines technical precision with practical wisdom and a healthy dose of outdoor enthusiasm ensuring every safety plan is both compliant and grounded in real-world effectiveness.
Josh is a chemical engineer and has worked in safety and continuous improvement since 1999. He's worked for several fortune 500 companies and improved bottom lines to the tune of over $12B while improving quality, production, efficiency, and culture. Culture is Josh's true passion, and is the main reason he pursued an independent career to be able to share that with everyone he works with. He values integrity and instills these values in his team to deliver world class service to F11 clients. He pushed himself in and out of work also being very active in biking, rock climbing, bowling, and tennis.

With over 41 years of experience in management, operations, and customer service, Ramona is the heart of F11. She combines decades of operational excellence with a deep commitment to serving her community. Her background in guiding teams and nurturing client relationships ensures that every F11 interaction is seamless and supportive. As a proud mom, “Oma” (grandmother), and Melvin Jones Fellow with the Seal Beach Lions Club, Ramona brings a genuine, people-first approach that is central to F11’s mission of safeguarding lives. When she’s not helping clients, you can find her hiking, traveling, and cooking for her family.
With a degree in Fire Prevention Engineering and over 25 years of experience, Derek is a walking encyclopedia of life safety. Having served as a firefighter and retired as a Fire Captain and Safety Code Officer, he brings a rare, on-the-ground perspective to compliance. Derek’s expertise extends across local, state, and international codes, allowing him to design comprehensive safety systems for everything from schools and apartment buildings to the Kennedy Space Center. His background isn’t just in knowing the codes; it’s in a lifetime of protecting people, making him an invaluable asset to F11’s mission of providing expert, trustworthy safety solutions. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 girls.
